I am Sudeshna Roy. I cant think of any one liner for me and m bad at giving any intro, so you will know me from my blogs.
I think, mostly what you would find in my blog is, how things get messy or how last minute things come up and end up doing everything in utmost hurry. 😀
I am starting to write with a motive to share something which I personally feel worth sharing or something which I have ransacked over net but could not find any help.

Yeah I appeared for JEST. It was on 3rd Sunday of Feb.
The syllabus is as same as GATE, but the questions are better.
It generally has two parts- First, MCQ questions where you have to qualify there cut off. Second, descriptive questions. Second part is evaluated only if you qualify in the first part.
About the questions, first part was okay, was bit like TIFR questions. But the second part was little tough for me. It had questions from Maths and programming. I don’t remember them in specific.

Yes it’s helpful 🙂 actually I’ve searched in net but there is no original question paper of JEST, only the sample paper is available. So when i saw ur blog and the details of other exams then hoped u can say any details about the original questions. Anyways thanks for ur reply 🙂 and…. if you can remember anything please please please do post 😛 🙂
